The best news so far, I can watch the Giants on the internet!!! I missed the Sanchez no-hitter but I saw the 2-1 victory that followed! Go Pablo!
This was my Korean lunch. Rice, kimchi, salad, unknown protein on right side of plate, and soup. I also have found that they use metal chopsticks everywhere instead of the wood ones we are used to back in California.
I relaxed and took a nap the rest of the day as the rain really kinda makes you want to stay inside. More to come from my first day of teaching on Monday

Thanks for the kind words Sara, I'm having a blast so far. I am in the classroom this whole week but hope to catch a baseball game one evening and maybe head down to the southern port city of Busan next weekend. Stay posted!
They use metal chopsticks because Korean kings ate with Silver Chopsticks. The thought was that silver would tarnish in the presence of any poisons. The pewter and metal chopsticks you get come from this idea. Plus it saves on trees when you can use the longer lasting metal chopsticks...
Hi Jeff, just now reading your blog!! What a great time you are having. Hmmmmm..... Unknown protein on your plate??? Is that like our mystery meat? Explore all you can, looks like a beautiful place. Be safe! Auntie Karen
